Can l temporarily hot wire a mopar ignition by using a jumper from the battery to the coil? I am just unsure about the electronic ignition stuff.

If you are going to do it underhood I would go to the resistor so you are not sending it a full 12 volts.

^^THIS^^ and also be aware you "could" have an older 5 pin ECU which requires a 4 pin resistor. Look at the ballast. One end has both terminals jumpered together. This is the incoming "key" voltage. You need to jumper power to that set of terminals. Not that easy, as you need to have both jumpered as well as power to them.
Also, the harness needs to remain connected as it backfeeds power from the "hot wire" to the ECU (as well as everything else on that line, the charging system, etc.
If you are only going to run the car a few minutes, jumpering to the coil is likely fine
You can use the jumper as described to start the engine, but do not let it run for long as the coil could overheat. But be aware if it doesn't start, then the list of suspects becomes: coil, ECU box, resistor, box grounding, wiring to & from box, coil.
