tail light leaks

71 Duster,the right rear tail light leaks water into the trunk I have replaced both gaskets and it still leaks....what else could it be making it leak ???
 
Poor quality repop gaskets OR poor fitment between the light and rear panel. Gonna have to inspect both real good.
 
Bent or rusted body where the seal hits it. Or another crack or hole in that area. LOOK it over carefully and find the problem.
 
Maybe trunk lid seal in that area, side marker light, dutchman panel rust......it will depend on where the water is actually coming through. You may have get inside the trunk with a flashlight while someone hits the back of the car with a hose.

Was going to go into the trunk and look for the leak but the wife said she would leave me in there....LOL will put some sealer around the lens to the body panel
