Stop in for a cup of coffee

You guys should come next year, absolutely nothing gets your heart pumping like watching two Mopars line up side by side and run, next up, two more Mopars side by side. You will take a million pix. Mopar only events are getting fewer and fewer. They open it up as well and have a Mopars against the world. Dang Mustangs did pretty well this year.
Those would be Musdangs then?

Got a few hours working on shed in the last couple day. Bit of a puzzle to rework something not built with current conventional lumber sizes.

This oil leak really has me pissed......:(:(
I would be frustrated, more then mad.I hate to have to redo anything, but stuff happens.
Waiting on parts aggravates me. It's been boiling hot this last week.
Saturday and Sunday chance of rain. I'm going to try and finish the driveway.
See if the weather and my , neck cooperate.

Glad the weather is agreeing with you now, keep plugging away!
Not really agreeing, but definitely plugging. Humidity had been ridiculous last couple days. Chance of showers at least the next 3 days... But I've been getting a couple hours a day at it anyway.

The Fury ran like a scalded dog and consistent as hell. The Pontiac wagon belongs to a friend of mine. It's a old race car he restored, drives it on the street and dialed in runs 10.90's.

The blue Mustang was a husband and wife team, he ran a modern F body and she ran the classic you have pictured. She put him out early! They were pretty cool folks. She can drive!

It's fun to walk around the pits and get the back story.

Just chatted with Dave Marvits who took this photo. Look at the orange glow underneath.

Racing is just one big family. You break down and the guy in the trailer beside you, that you need to beat, will loan you the parts, or tools, or help you fix your junk, anything it takes to get you back to staging. Guys like Tom in the black Duster, he has been racing that car for forty years. Just a wealth of info and not scared to tell you anything at all. In the end yes we like to win but you ultimately compete against yourself so helping another racer get to the line is a just plain common event. At home tracks we all know who has what beer is in what cooler. Many cars out there are built by the very guys you are trying to beat. One guy back half’s his car, does a great job, whips the crap out of you so you ask him to back half your car! Of course he does it and then cheers you on every time you line up. Our cars don’t win shows but we love em just the same. The pits are just a hoot, my favorite place to be!

You should, there is a fire truck staged along with an ambulance just in case you decide to do some wiring on your car! Hah! Great event.
Yeah I decided I’m buying the expensive year one harness
