How does an active conversation disappear?

I have been corresponding with someone about selling a large lot of matching interior parts. I've spent a bunch of time collecting things, packaging them and getting shipping prices. Now the entire conversation seems to have vanished. How would this happen?

A few days ago there was a problem with the server and some 10 days worth of information was lost.

I had a deal going with a mopar vac gauge... gone. Luckily I got the other deal I had finalized and address sent.

This messed up a lot of deals folks had going .

I messed a lot of us up. I lost ads, I was dealing with a member on a bunch of parts, all lost. Threads lost, as time goes by I find out how it has messed things up. So your not alone.

You do not allow email addresses in ads though?

It was possible before, so perhaps consider returning that right to the entire membership and this will not continue to be a problem?

You are sent an email when you get a conversation and I believe it tells you the name of the member that sent it. So if you go to those emails you can possibly find out who you were having a conversation with.

This wont continue to be a problem anyway. And no, Im not returning emails in public posts.

Well my “emails” in my conversations were lost after the crash.
