My first car co-owned with my friend Chuck. '56 Belvidere...277/powerflyte.

Paid $35.00 for it, bondoed up the rust and sold it for $250.00.

I was 14 Chuck was 15.

Last car I made money on...

Let's see...........64............I was 16. I did not own a car until soon after I graduated HS. But I drove Dad's 55 Chev wagon "straight 5" (that's RIGHT a FIVE cylinder, it had one dead hole) and "3 on the tree"

Back then I did not know what a Mopar was except for Gramma/ Grampa's "fluid drive" Dodges he was so proud of.
 
In 1964 I was still in Junior High. Didn't have a car of my own for another six years. But I did buy a 56 Plymouth Belvedere many decades later. 277 Powerflite, factory four barrel carb and dual exhaust. Had it for 20 years now.

Whaaaa..... so that means you were 38 years old when I was born. Yet you have more energy than I do lol
 
Bought my first Harley on 22 Jan 1964. Too young for a licence, learned to ride it in the backyard...

I was 14 on 1962 I would sneek over to the neighbor kid, he was 13 and we rode his Honda 50 all over Terrell Co. Ga. seeing how many NY state plates we could see.
