$2,000...no lowball offers I know what I got...

Laysons has them new for what.....850? People sell good used ones all the time cheap. What a nutball.

You don’t want to buy that China made garbage, who knows what they put in that glass when they make it....I bet once you drive for an hour in the sun it gets so hot the glass starts putting off invisible gasses that make you grow a 3rd leg or extra fingers and toes. I knew a guy once who bought one, and the poisonous fumes from that China glass made him wacky and he went and bought a Ford.

I have 2, always wanted a 3rd in case i break the first 2 installing them.

they sure are a heavy piece of glass....but strong!
Absolutely and probably a 2 man job till you get the glass laid in.
One of the worst ones for me was replacing the w/shield in a Ford Louisville.
They have a tilt front end and the w/s was quit big and I'm 5'4". It took some work to get it in place then it was a piece of cake to rope it in.

I’d like just one for $1,867.00. I’m going to trim it and cut in half for my split window Vette

$10,000 worth of windows. I wonder what other cool, rare stuff he's got! Dumb ***.

Jeff

yeah I have some other stuff but nobody seems to want it.....

During my 18 yrs in the auto glass trade I never had the privilege of installing one of those. Shouldn't be too bad I would think.
I did lots of rubber set, never a barracuda. I will review service manual before attempting.
Met a guy that had a back window in a shed, was all scratched up. His kids used it as a sled, dragging it around behind a snowmobile. They are tough. Aparrently they will survive a rollover.

i know some friends who can lend a hand if you if need....they are good helpers but a major distraction...might be a good idea to have an extra piece of ***....I mean glass.

But all it takes is a chip out of the edge of the glass and they shatter into a million pieces. When I worked at a GM dealer I was the trimmer there and had just changed the doorglass on a Camaro. The Service manager asked me how strong they were. I put some cardboard on the floor and laid the glass curve up and then stood on it. He was amazed. Then my buddy the shop foreman stood on it and he weighed around 225lbs and once again the service manager was amazed then I stood on it as well. His exact words were HOLY F*&K

Somewhere out there there's a guy who knows a guy whose uncle has a fully numbers matching1964 Barracuda with the original 426 Hemi, the factory Muncie and positrac. He dropped a vice grip on his super rare back window so he's gonna be needing one of those to get his priceless car back on the road. Keep posting....that guy who knows the guy will show up to hook you up with the guy so his uncle can restore his car to previous glory.

I know the uncle of the guy who knows the guy. I'll let him know. But it's really a factory 440 ball stud Hemi.

Hey Keith, how much for the Flux Capacitor? I just blew mine on the 426 Hemi and was wondering where to get a replacement. I revved it too high and threw the muffler chain right through the damn thing. Maybe we could trade, I have a REAL copper negative battery cable, worth probably a grand based on scrap copper price. I would even be willing to throw in 3 pieces of OSB plywood, slightly used. PM me if interested.
