I personally own a 1995 GC, converted to 5-speed. Have a 4.6 liter stroker I need to finish & install.

My brother used to own this '87 Wrangler, 4.2 liter; carb'd with 5-speed. He couldn't use 5th gear with the tall tires because of no power. We rebuilt the engine, swapped a ported 4.0 head, and fuel injection from an '89 Cherokee. Sucker screamed! (and 5th gear started working properly.) He went from 11 mpg to about 18 after the engine work.

Why is it leaning ?

maybe its me, but it looks like the top of the wheels are leaning to the passenger side
(maybe just the way the pic is taken?)

Looks to me the camera is off center toward passenger side. More noticeable in the roof line and tire off set.
It's just my optical conclusion on the tilt!:D

Thanks

I tried to figure it out, but it just gave me a headache

I’ve had a bunch over the years. Bought this ‘99 Sahara about 4-5 years ago. Trying to keep it a simple, traditional look with some CJ inspiration. It’s impractical at everything, but the simplicity is what makes it fun. My kids will never let me sell it. It’s pretty much the perfect combo for the year. Full doors, white hard top, 4.0 with a 5 speed and Dana 44.

Jeeps, I have owned way too many, still have three, but at anytime they can multiply.
It all started with the first one, I bought stock to drive thru college, beat it to death.
Got mad at it sold it for $1000, damn rust ate the body up on it.

Yeah, I've made some good money replacing heater cores in those and Grand Cherokee's ! The last three XJ Cherokee's I've owned didn't ever need cores replaced, but I have to backflush them before EVERY winter, to get decent heat.
