I was that guy last night. I drove 3 hours round trip to a car club meeting. Set the cruise on the ol' Buick at 60 and got 33 mpg. Pass me on the 4 lane if you want to go faster. :lol:

When slowing down to make a left hand turn and you signal far ahead to indicate your intention and the person behind you slams the horn on you for making said turn! The same also applies when making A right turn. I HONESTLY DONT GET IT!!!!

When listing a car for sale and seller writes:
"Needs restored" instead of needs to be restored or needs restoration

To much to list without listing anything

People can really be lazy.
For sell. Need to sale it. Needs fixed. Christ... did you pay any attention in school?

We were (or our ancestors) all foreigners at one time. Cajuns still speak in French dialect. There are many people here in the US from other countries that speak their native language. It takes a while to learn to speak English or at least the English we speak. People from England say that we don't know how to speak English!

sorry, not buying it

English has got to be one of the easiest languages to learn

and i dont mind foreigners who speak their native tongue at home, but once they enter the community, they should speak English

simple as that, especially since it takes a few years to get a visa and enter this country legally, that is PLENTY of time to learn English

(and if someone enters the country illegally, well, they are criminals and need to be treated as such)
 
On highways like the I10 or I40 with two lanes each direction. Passing someone and you see a car coming up fast behind you. There are no cars in left lane ahead, 18 wheeler about 1/4 ahead in right lane going slower than you. Courtesy move to the right lane to let the fast approaching car pass. What does that fast car do? Slows down and paces next to you right into the back of the 18 wheeler.

I had someone do that to me three times. I sped up got in front each time and then stayed in the left lane. Now they want to tailgate. Oh my, a tread off a truck tire in the left lane. Late move to avoid tread, takes out the entire front end on the tailgating car... and off the freeway at next exit for them. Was that bad?

I shouldn't have to, but I find I get 66% less meaningless drivel in the results.

My bitchin Yaris has the WORST washer squirter on earth... but it works PERFECT to drench the asshat behind me! I love counting how many times they flip their wipers on before they realize I'm doing it because they are so close to me..... I can handle $2.99 a jug once a week noooo problem.

I have been Working in construction since 1986. In that time, I have seen the shift from majority white guys to a majority of Hispanics. Many speak English with the same skill as most Americans. Some speak broken English but do well enough to get by. Those guys and the ones that speak no English are doing themselves a disservice because they will limit their employment opportunities due to the language barrier. I respect any foreigner that comes here legally, learns the language and works for their money.
My father in law did that and he made a great life for himself and his family.
