Just a few miles upwind of here. The sign is not lying "World's Best". Keep in mind at one time this valley was BIG OIL. Big oil places have toxic waste dump areas. Yup, right across the valley and over the hill from the Hitchin' Post it was. :lol:

Interesting, never even heard of a Bosnian restaurant around there, could be but I don't know of it. I'd try one tho...

Cheers had a true brass bar ring around the top of the bar and a brass bar around the floor area for the patrons feet., round bar stools ..

I have one and a port hole mirror along with a sign shaped like a hand that hung.

Had the Big Ten show up Saturday at George Rays drag strip for points race, Damn fast cars, didn't give away there times :wtf: but I do understand why :lol:

I enjoyed the children racers and took time to get some return lane shot.

Yeah... it was a little different back then but met some really great people. They would fix you a meal in their home. I really started liking roasted goat right off the spit...and this one restaurant would cook an amazing green pepercorn steak.
I plan to go back and see what it has become

Kinda foggy this morning, probably lead to low derelict count at the donut shop :lol:. Weather might get interesting this evening, flash flood watch in the next county up the beach, snow level 6000' inland.
