Looks small? I like the inner fender delete. I'm a victim too.......Thats an Offenhauser slant six 4bbl. Bolt a ~500CFM up and go. Get a larger cam and split the exhaust for duals or run headers. Worth some coin here if you wanna flip it.

I'm running that setup. Offy with Holley 4bbl. Dual exhaust and headers

Correct manifold, but it is missing the carb adapter.
PS: I would not consider turbo, with that much milled off the deck and head. Your CR is likely too high. Not that it couldn't be done, but will take a lot of work, with control systems.

It wasnt the OP that milled that much, I actually don't see where he milled anything..... it was WV64 signet's post that talked about that.....

Can anyone tell me the correct carb adaptor to buy? I will be looking for a small CC Holley or Edelbrock carb in the near future, so I want to be prepared. Mahalo C

Here's what the adapter looks like. I believe there is another one that will let you mount a two-barrel on there.

That one came with the intake. I'm not sure it is available separately, you might have to contact Offy to see. I think it would be easy to make, it's just aluminum plate.

Do I need a leveling block ?

Put a carpenter level on the intake manifold carb face to see if it is level to the world.

Not sure why the racers use the wedge carb plate adapter unless it helps to offset centrifugal force from them going round and round making left hand turns.

Looks like your car now has a 2bbl manifold with a Progressive carb. I like those Progressive carbs, use them on our VW 1835 cc Dune Buggies. Good response with a secondary.

The 4bbl Offenhauser manifold and adapter could be adapted back to fit your Progressive carb with this 2 to 4bbl adapter. Or 4 to 2 bbl . . .
