Looks as though the market for older cars is drying up. I've been looking for a non project car such as a 1968-1972 dart, 1970-1974 duster, 1971-1973 scamp for about 2 years now and nothing. I'm not wanting a 340 car or a limited edition, just a clean rust free car with a V/8, at, ps, and ac.

There's TONS of stuff out there. look again.
I especially like this /6 dart.

Very original Dart GT, on a non-op with a clear title in our name. We found this vehicle for several years. We purchased it from the original owner and it still wears it's black and yellow original license plates. V8, Auto, bucket seats and console. This car originally had Factory air conditioning it is still intact.

It has new dual exhaust, we purchased new carpet and several items for the interior. It will need a good tune up from sitting. But it will start up and drive onto your trailer.

here is a good example:

I have a beautiful original numbers matching Dart with 273 V8 and A/C. lifetime desert car, with maybe 200 miles on it since I rebuilt the whole car. I have had it 16 years,, but nope, a four door, don't want it.

I can say that in my opinion the status of the hobby now is if it has been properly painted, the car is worth X price, no matter the style. If the car needs to be redone, no matter how rare it is or what model it is, deduct 10k.
I am getting ready to paint my 69 Cuda,A rust free straight as an arrow original. The material alone now is over $2,200.

Good grief man. Seriously, it's just you. If you really have $25k+ burning a hole in your pocket then making a few hours drive, or hell, even a flight and drive home with a hotel or two along the way shouldn't be an issue. Anything even close to matching up with your posted standards should be more than capable of driving at least a few hundred miles if not more. I mean you claim you drove 3 hours one way to see a car that didn't meet your standard and that was some kind of tragedy? It happens. 6 or 7 hours out of your life for a $25k purchase is nothing. If you're going to be that picky you're going to have to commit some days here and there just to looking at stuff. And yeah, take a risk and travel a little. If you can't enjoy the journey then maybe a classic car isn't what you need.

^^^ I decided to see what I could find and in 2 minutes I found those ^^^ listings. You ain't looking brother .... or you are not a serious buyer whatsoever. Just a talker.

This guy is delusional and has been whining in multiple posts about not being able to find a car......His post should probably read something more like this......I'm a broke *** and not competent enough to work on a car but I'm really wanting a clean, rust free running and driving 2 door classic Mopar for free and also if it wouldn't be too much to ask could it be from someone within a 3 mile radius of myself who is capable of working on it so that you can donate all your labor and parts for free over the time that I own it........There I fixed it for him.
How many vehicles and construction vehicles did you work on when you were 12 years old, probably none. Is your reply a more reflection of yourself? Don't judge something that you don't understand.

I can work on cars just fine,if you've been keeping up with my post. I don't expect to get it for free but I don't want one that needs body and paint work and I made that clear, so take your negative comments elsewhere
