Stop in for a cup of coffee

I NEVER use those flex hoses on anything. They look like ****...Formed hoses are the only way to go....Especially when people will be looking at your work under the hood...

OK.. I'm glad you said that because I didn't want to sound pretentious..... LOL> It's just a lowly Valiant but I can't do "one size fits most" stuff.

Mowed, edged, cleaned up and calling it a day.
Granddaughter has a game at 3pm.
After that we're taking a friend and his college daughter to the club for a round of golf.
She plays there Monday and Tuesday in the Kansas State Women's Amateur Golf tournament.
We saw them last night and she'd been out for a practice round.
She's a scratch golfer but didn't have much playing time on our course.
We offered to take them out tonight and she thought it was a great idea.

More jungle clean up

Necessity is a mother…
Even with good one coat paints,I do a prime coat over fresh drywall work. Good place to use up old colors. Found some, but I noticed some crap in it… Couldn’t find a piece of screen, but I have plenty of drywall tape.

Well today I picked up some fancy leather. I am required to wear a Kydex holster or similar modern material at work or when instructing. Most all ranges and classes now frown upon leather. They typically very strongly urge you to not bring it. Well I am an old soul and much prefer leather. So I grabbed a “legal” Kydex holster for my SIG and attacked it with a dremel, smoothed it out and gave it to my leather guy. Hah! He enveloped the Kydex with leather and I now got a legit Kydex Buscadaro drop holster I can teach in! Turned out great! Yes the Sublime Harley in background is mine.

What’d you smooth out

I have a prox·im·i·ty sensor. With cameras. Goes to my phone. But yes. Place looks like it could by dicey.

Anything that was not essential, retention device etc. The guy soaked the leather for days then wrapped it around the holster and put it in a food saver vacuum bag. Pulled a vacuum on it and left it for days, then resoaked it and did process again. The leather sucked right down to the Kydex then he trimmed excess off. It really turned out great!

8 hours today just getting the parts and materials so nothing really accomplished. I did get the right front tire reseated on the rim. There was a bad bead seal from when they were mounted.

The grail today was the lower radiator hose. Didn't want to start work until I had it on hand.

Also noted this short bit of hose that needs replacement as well.

Progress is progress. You gain ground every single day. Keep on keeping on!

Frustrated with NAPA.... Online order last night for pick-up this morning. 4 items on the list...website indicated 3 available for 30 minute pick up and one for next day...

Reality: 1 item competely unavailable, 1 item 7 day wait from manufacturer, 1 item an unacceptable "substitute".... so I got 1 thing there and started the round- robin. All this precipitated by the 5-day shipping delay on the alignment tool from Speedway Motors.

Yeah yeah yeah. Worlds smallest violin.

Thanks
