Hey gets.
All day wrenching on the car. It about kicked my arse. Damn but those Upper Control Arm eccentrics are a PITA to access. She is aligned! Used the vintage system and then double checked with the digital guage. Spot on. Went with more of a performance Street setup. I'll see how it does and adjust from there. I don't think there is any need for a shop alignment at all. Test drive did great. Let go of the wheel and she goes straight down the road.

It was like some sort of test thinking about what direction I wanted to move things and the lobes on the UCA bolts. Up and out is different than down and out.

I'm spent. Think I was hit in the face by falling wrenches and sockets about a dozen times.

Sounds like a great day!! This morning we have a 9am Granddaughter's softball game. They're playing for their league championship.
She had a two run RBI double last night to win their semifinal game. Hopefully she came down off cloud nine last night and got some sleep.
Congratulations !! I agree, I bet she is still fired up and ready to put a glove on , you all enjoy your day

Great job on that tunnel, can't wait to drive up and see it in person
Thanks, the T-60 tranny I put in is huge compared to factory so I had to make my own tunnel. I made it a bit bigger than I actually needed so I could work on stuff underneath. It won’t look near as big once I get a console and carpet in there! It is Beyoncé wide!

Yep, I seen it in another thread, or was it this one , be sure and tell all the coffee crew we said howdy, it's going to be a great day for everyone I bet

Good Morning All! Most of ya'll get Carlilse, I get Shipwreck Days in Anacortes lol! This is the one I went to on Fathers Day only to find out it really was happening July 16th. It's just a flea market kinda thing but I'm going there for a vinyl records, one guy in particular who sells both that and concert t's etc.

I got a surprise guest last night. There is a big car show in Fargo today so I am sitting in my chair last night sipping a toddy and I get a text from FABO @Fred Scigliano of body work and center console building fame. He wants to go to car show in the morning. Next thing ya know I tell him to just hit the road and he can crash here instead of driving in the morning. Him and Hemi are buds for sure! The pocket full of treats he always brings does help a bit! He got here about ten and we had a couple of toddies. Great times!

He's a good guy fir sure!

You could breeze through in a day. Or spend 3 and still miss a lot.

Said this twice and failed twice.... Third times a charm??. Gonna drive up a little later this morning. The all- nighter on the car kinda blew up my grand plans

Hitting the "Breeze through" option

Still no rain here .. grass is turning brown and as y'all know we have been in a burn ban for 10 days now

We had some nice rain yesterday... Till about 2 PM, then a break, then a couple of passing showers... Everything is nice and green up here...

No morning fog this morning :D Old Town up the street is probably a train wreck with the Bent Axles show getting put together. They close a couple streets. Went for a ride yesterday evening, numerous out-of-towners were already here for the car show. Really neat '56 T-Bird that looked like it just rolled out of a trailer at an SCCA event at Road Atlanta with that low and blinding fast look :steering:

Sad day here DesMoines, saying good by to a favorite friend I spent many hour working on.
She is going to a good home, buyer is a collector that will enjoy it as much as I did building it.
