Stop in for a cup of coffee

Funny thing you tube and it’s impact. Jodi rented a yard elf from one of my buddies yesterday while getting ready to sell house lots of yard work. As she is talking to the young man who is 14 she asks what he is interested in career wise. Apparently my approach was not smooth, he was grumbling about digging and I simply told him the one way to guarantee this type of job for rest of his life was to quit school. Jodi thought he needed a bit more elegant approach. His reply and I kid you not, “I will post videos on you tube and make 60k a year by posting stuff people want to watch” he said I only need a million or so followers. I had no words. But my mind was thinking of Stephen and all the other no name National guys struggling to meet the threshold of 500. Rant over
In all reality we are growing faster than the norm. It takes a lot of work just to get to 1000 subs and the watch time in hours in order to monitize.

When my tools start flying across the shop, I know it's time to walk away for a bit......
But then there's a sign that this just might be the needed fix...

I need to do more video footage on my 72 crew cab dart.

I can't travel by myself to the nonamenationals but I'm trying to build a car for it even through I'm saying upfront that I won't make it. It's too far into the unknown and my parents would flip if I told them I was going that far by myself.

The 72 dart is a cherry car but someone robbed the front end and dash to clone some duster into a demon **rolls eyes**
I have the parts to bring it back and save an otherwise very nice 72 dart 4 door.

No rust anywhere, so it needs to live
What is your youtube channel link?

Sometimes it's good to walk away !

There should be a grove it rests in

i thought there was a set screw in that end. I’ll drop mine tomorrow lol

Reset is good. When my tools start getting bigger I know it is time to walk away for a bit!

If you still need assistance call if needed.
Drop me a PM.

OK kids... thanks for the help and guidance. Also a.shout out to @65barracudaLA who had a picture of the spring attachment from his disassembly...

She is buttoned up, cable adjusted and getting ready to come down off the jack stands. I don't believe this is all that's needed to get it right but it was a big step.

Love the assistant! Just not sure how Karl is gonna roll with that one tho!

OK

Riddle me this Batman

If the Parking cable link was jacked up from the get-go...would getting it "right" allow for passageways in the transmission to open that were not previously open?

I've added 3 1/2 pints of ATF and it's still hungry

Lon does transmissions for a living and specializes in vintage automatics at home. He was a trainer for Aamco Transmissions and is top notch. Nice to have him step in to help.
