Hey guys. Just been busy as hell moving to Oklahoma and trying to wrap up my job so I can retire..
Thank you sir. That's what I was concerned with. Just really didn't want to re-shaft right now. No rest I suppose..
I hope I never ever move again
wondering if I shouldn't just pull the engine while I have the transmission out replace major gaskets (there's some minor head gasket seepage) and clean/ paint everything
Our last day here today in the 90's 80's the rest of the week.
Been a hotter than usual summer and I'm glad it's almost over.
Send those old Hot Wheels to Pete for his collection.
and a 4 speed. If you are going to do that, may as well drop a V-8 in it then....
Actually.. THAT is actually part of the longer term planIf you are going to do that, may as well drop a V-8 in it then....
. Every time I look up Jodi is throwing something I wanted to keep away.
and a 4 speed.
And most of us have had slants.
no no no... I love the querkiness of my pushbutton
Yeah.... this driving season is kinda torched. Partially my own fault. I procrastinated on some of the bigger work doing too much research and then having to do things over (sometimes 2 or 3 times)
No. Wheel speed sensors are in wheel hubs. Unless its awd and has no 2wd setting. But its a pickup. It wont know axles are missing, other than the improved fuel economy from not having to turn front diff…Computer might freak out.
The next meeting of procrastinators anonymous has been cancelled...
We will get back to you when we get around to rescheduling it....
Guy worked in mercury marine dealer. Comes to work monday to find his bench covered with a disassembled powerhead. Hangs coat up, removes watch and places it in the special drawer, grabs garbage can and cleans his bench straight into can. It was the owner that left the mess. He never said boo..We all have our own work benches in the shop. Mine is near the middle. People just gotta lay stuff there, use my chair and F'k with my stuff...
If they want you to answer your phone for them, make sure your well compensated for it. Place I retired from drove me nuts till I said I was going to start charging them.
I didn't tell my stoopidvisors I was retiring until the Friday afternoon I threw my keys on his desk. I seen how they had treated other people that had made the 2 week notice mistake in the past. "You know my address. You can mail my last paycheck."
Depends what it is. I either throw away or export to somewhere it won't get lost (or found)Guy worked in mercury marine dealer. this particular mechanic was one of the top 10 best mechanics across canada. Very smart man with a low tolerance for bs..
Still far from 'organized' but I made significant progress cleaning in my garage Saturday.Progress is slow today. Cleaning shop. Scrap out, empty boxes to burning pile. Used oil containers out. Relocated drill press and next is attacking the pile of steel and sheet metal cutoffs i save..organize it. I have a welding bench i would like to bring back in. But its buried in quonset. Im sure not wanting to take on any work at the moment. Grass is almost dry enough to cut.
