Stop in for a cup of coffee

Getting ready to head up to Saigon for the night. Tomorrow morning early going to Thailand. Should be a fun 5 days. Found out I will be going to Pattaya along the trip. Not normal for a guy that has a lady to go there. Most westerners go there to fornicate. Lol

Oh, that would be fun on a car.
They do it to dedicated drift cars, independent front/rears.

Tractors and such go tops 25 mph, maybe 27 down hill, I’ve hit those by accident once or twice, it’s a bit scary if you’re not used to it. Can’t imagine hitting them at 70 mph or whatever. Plus tractors and such only have brakes on the drive axle, none in steering.

Morning up early:wtf:...sleep who needs it pass the coffee make it extra strong.

OK gents... had to take a deep breath after yesterday's failed launch of the Valiant. Transmission ate **** and smoked... never really got our of first gear. Hard shift into second at about 4000 rpm... plume of smoke and left with 1st and Reverse only.

Taking a break and assessing options.
That sucks, another project.

Chris so sorry to hear about your car saga. I'm sure it is very frustrating. I hope the builder can help solve the problems soon.

Thanks Craig.

He's been very good working with me. Not a lot of these pushbuttons floating around so I get that. It'll get resolved. Time and money right?

Then there's @Sublime one John's theory on Torqueflite rebuilds should result in 4-speeds and stick shifts.

Dang if I didn't wake up with ache in my neck and a headache. I'm blaming the pillows... gotta find one that works for me.

Of course you have!! :poke:

Oddly, I prefer the plume of smoke and you KNOW it's dead than some nagging, intermittent crap that makes it undrivable or leaves you stranded.

How's things in the container?

We always loved the pillows at hotels we stayed and found they were usually Sahara Night pillows.
I went online and bought a set for each of us money well spent. Had them a couple years and have held up really well.

Good morning :)

Wow the news just showed Diyarbakir, Turkie. Thats where a few of us were forward deployed before Iraqui Freedom. Recognized it right away. Then the war starts, and the freaking Turks won't let us fly across the border. Man that was a cluster **** to Cypress overnight with the brits Camp, then down the Syrian coast being missile locked the whole way in a H-60. Not good. Oh gets better. We got about a mile away from a burning oil well and the automatic Missile launch (plume detector) triggers the Chaff and flare going off. That was fun. Lots of untidy whiteys on that flight.
