Stop in for a cup of coffee

I got a 16" Echo from home depot a few years ago.. i believe it was well under $200 and never let me down.. really surprised at how good it is.. While Sthil is the best.. they charge for owning one :)
My second choice is an Echo, great chain saw in my opinion

I had a sears wacker in HI. Was under extended waranteed for a few years. Man thats all we could use with lava rock. That sucker got rebuilt probably three times!

First time I ever got a real good look at my old work partner's injected alcohol digger, lookin' it over and :wtf: it's got an 8 3/4 with drum brakes . Car was built by Alan Johnson AJR one of his sand drag hot rods. "Think about it. Drum brakes are lighter and there is no drag." says Jack. We used to take the grinder and grind slots on the leading shoe on the front end of the desert racer to decrease the braking on that end. Hard to steer with the front wheels locked up in the dirt :steering: .

Just curious for those that have done it.. i was planning on going with a drdiff disc brake conversion (2 pot MC, factory brake parts) You guys find manual to be good enough? I used to drive manual drum cars but it's been 20+ years.. I think with the drdiff kit i can keep my 14" rims til i switch to 15's later also...
I have manual disk drum on my Barracuda convertible, and they work just fine.

It's like Christmas just came for me :)

Well day two trying to buy a new chain saw. On brighter side watching my two K9s work a rabbit this morning was very cool. As far as I know the first time they have tag teamed prey together. If you bet on the cotton tail you would have lost your money. They did not run side by side but split up like coyotes and the rabbit never had a chance. Game set match to the Mal pup. She is dining on the rabbit as we speak and quite proud of herself.
You have any Jack rabbits there? When mine see one the race is on. Gunnar stops if it's a Jack, Brandie not so much.

Got to love that.
yeah.. now i need to keep this messed up RPM intake though.. i can make it work, no big thing.. just annoying..

So.. DrDiff offers 15/16 and 1 3/32 diameter master cylinders.. Anyone have some input? I was thinking 7/8 will be a bit longer travel but better feel/pressure needed..

And holy cow front brake conversion $850 without the lines... i was thinking 600ish... need to rethink this..

 I'm setting up a Ring doorbell for the back door. It said "This may take a few min. Grab a cup of coffee?" Smart.
