yours? age, height, tpa- er um hectare? Red Pine?
Ya.. well actually my Son's land now next door. Planted by the Ministry in the late 80's when they wrote up contracts to plant, let grow and then harvest a few decades down the road and give the property owner the money for the Red Pine. All bogus promises, other than the planting of 1800 trees, but they look nice! LOL They cover about 4 acres.

If they are better than 12 meters tall at 40 years old they would respond well to thinning but I don't know if less than 2 hectares is worth messing with. I remember some of the hardwood pictures from your spot and bet the site indices are pretty high (for lots of species). Red Pine sure did across the lake from you in the UP!

Thanks George for reminding me of that. Something I shouldn't have forgotten.

August 8, 1982. A line drive foul ball hits a four year old boy in the head at Fenway. Jim Rice, realizing in a flash that it would take EMTs too long to arrive and cut through the crowd, sprang from the dugout and scooped up the boy. He laid the boy gently on the dugout floor, where the Red Sox medical team began to treat him.
When the boy arrived at the hospital 30 minutes later, doctors said, without a doubt that Jim's prompt actions saved the boy's life. Jim returned to the game in a blood-stained uniform. A real badge of courage. After visiting the boy in the hospital, and realizing the family was of modest means, he stopped by the business office and instructed that the bill be sent to him.
This is what a sports Hero looks like!

They're probably 20 meters high now. Logging company we have in right now says they get root dependant and if you take out a row they'll probably wind blow down after that. No biggy, I just took that shot after walking and counting marked sawlog trees, mainly Red Oak..

I think Elon and his SpaceX buddies better re-engineer the launch pad for that heavy lift rocket they're testing
