Had this come up on the interwebs and have been searching for any information of such a radio as an option. Seller states it's out of a 64 Valiant. Nothing in the option books that I can find.

Appreciate any feedback

Thanks Much

Bumping this

Communicating with the seller, who is in Canada, so he's screwed by the Postal strike anyhow.

Anybody have a more exhaustive location to look at available radios for 1964? To include aftermarket. Near as I can tell, this is not a Bendix. It has an IBEW sticker with C78750322 and a stamped ink 468091 on the top and a stamped ink MC-G (ground?) on the side.

I did notice that Motorola made some car radios in the early/mid 60s that did not have the auto tune pushbuttons.

Thanks Ya'll

I did the googling and not much help.
I would get a parts manual and look for different part numbers between the different faceplate. Once you have the different part numbers, Google those?
Maybe try calling Nigel at National Moparts, he's up here in Ontario
#800 426 2993 or 705 426 2993.

Bumping this back up.

Can't find squat on this radio

I've since taken the original radio out of the Valiant...

It is not a Bendix radio that I can tell, or at least not one that come up in the 64 Radio Repair guide.

The case is different. The Valiant, Dart Hi and Dart Lo Bendix are all rectangular blocks. These are different bpth the one in my car as well as this one for sale.

SO - Long walk to the question

Anyone know where Chryco was sourcing radios for Windsor production?

Not a Mopar radio would be my guess. Almost looks like a Rambler/AMC radio.
