Can anyone help find or give me some pointers on how to find my original block?

It's a 340 block. VIN #409210. I think the car used to be owned by a guy named Doug Fletcher in Kelowna, BC, Canada who has since passed away (only months ago). It was then bought by a guy named Mo (in Surrey, BC where I am as well), who I bought it from. I believe the car was originally B3. It's now B5. Any ideas?? Trying to track down Doug Fletcher's family is already super tough.

Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!

Start by posting your numbers in the "Mopar Lost & Found" section on this site, as well as the FBBO, FEBO, and FFMJBO sister sites. Other Mopar-centric sites may have similar sections.
You could also try places like Hemmings.com.

Honestly, winning the Lotto probably has better odds, so keep your mind open to a reasonably date-correct warranty block too. Sadly, lots of things could have happened to the original in the past sixty years.
Best of luck to you, though!
(Beautiful car, by the way!)

Beautiful car!
The only help I have is to find out all of the car's owners since new and try to contact them.
If the engine was replaced under warranty when almost new, then there is a good chance that it is long gone...
