What are you using for 318 exhaust manifold gaskets? I don't want to fiddle with the 3 piece set that came in my Felpro engine rebuild gasket set and I know 340 gaskets will have too large a port size. Thank you.

Mine are one piece for each side, so they’re definitely available. It’s been too long though, so I can’t remember who made them.

Correct is no gasket.

If your heads and manifolds are flat, that is the way to go. No gasket means nothing to blow out.

If you don’t trust the surfaces, use remflex one piece gaskets. They will seal anything and are pretty durable.

The factory was a thin single pieces of sheet metal pressed with ridges. The correct for your engine header gasket will do what you want -but reflex is one of the better brands for longevity.

318's had embossed steel shim gaskets with the heat shields on them originally.
