I tried to message Yellow Rose regarding this question but I was not permitted to send him a private message for some reason. Well, after seeing today's video post from "Nick's Garage" where an "engine builder' installed the pistons with the valve reliefs opposite the correct valve and the intake valves bumped into the crown of the piston, I began to have some doubts about the L2322F pistons I have installed in my small block project (which is in storage). I can't tell for sure by the photo if the valve reliefs are the same or different diameters. Thank you.

I run the same pistons in my 340, the domes been trimmed a few times since I raced it.
There not being a left and right piston, the reliefs pretty much needs to be the same .
Cheers

I've measured them before a while back, but don't remember the exact dimension. I'm pretty sure they're the same size, but like Rusty said, clean up the sharp edges. @Newbomb Turk

Those seem to have a universal fitment from bank to bank. As long as you have the spark plug divet on the correct side of the head AKA towards the outside of the block, you're good. KB used to sell them where they were very specific with an exhaust and an intake relief, then they decided to make it easier for people and made both valve reliefs the same size. You just have to pay attention to the piston

The guy who did that motor on the Nick's garage show, was an idiot

Be kinda… he has a channel and you don’t.
My 8 yr old nephew has a channel, You should watch it, probably right up your alley.
Opinions are just that, and we're all entitled to them. You have to consider where each of us is at in this game. I myself am looking to learn or indulge in things you may not know, care, or have the ability/expertise to exercise yourself.. so you don't have to value my opinion or rely on it if you don't want to.

Hope nick takes better care of himself, cause he's trailing right behind DV and Uncle Phoney

I think it gets to where they have to post so many videos to make a buck that they end up posting junk content Uncle Tony is notorious, at his peak he was posting a video a day and it became nonsense... yacking about Holleys repeatedly etc. thing is their viewers love it if they dont post a video their following dies off it isnt about quality its like eating cheetos etc. but then ya get a guy who really wants to see how to rebuild a Holley and he has to sift through all the junk videos... at that point I just get the book out myself...

Removed? How n why
Sometimes I wonder if most aren't bots.

I get views, plenty, but people actually logged in is a diff story.
The analytics say many are people watching anonymously..

Actually he does....and it's a goodun.
The video on 308 heads he had worked was especially informative. We need someone in the aftermarket to produce those heads with larger as cast ports from aluminum and retain the factory exterior shape. And maybe even an offset rocker version as well.

It seems like I saw him post a while back that he was going to be really busy and not having as much free time to post in the technical side of things. He's still active here and there, just not nearly as much as before.
