Well, the 63 Fury roof is in rust mort now and have to wait 24 hours before I can do anything with it. Had to coat the complete roof.
The whole thing was rusty and some pretty deep pits. I used vinegar first then sand blasted then more vinegar again then a wire wheel and now rust mort. Never did this big of an area with so much rust so doing the best I can with it and hope I'm doing it right.
What is rust Mort?

I went with a lokar kick down cable. Easy as it gets to adjust also.
Spray on rust conversion compound, I've used it a couple times, seems to work

Heavy smoke still.
Took Kim for a tour through the burned out area yesterday evening. Its hard to tell how bad it really was,lots of cleanup was done and all the undergrowth is really taking over.
Not sure what i will take on today, a few things waiting to get done. BBQ weekend will be coming up pretty quick, lots to move around and tidy up.
I need to go visit the car club treasurer, he had a stroke recently and things are not going well. He was a founding member and had to step down. He and his wife (Auntie Bee) are pillars of our community.
I have a cylinder head for his M-37 Ambulance. Im thinking i will do the repairs in his shop, then we can hang out. If hes well enough.
