If the tire's in it's happy temperature range, I would have to pedal it and it would spin about 10 feet before dead hooking and allowing full throttle.
My buddies "Heckcat" was running the factory street type tires on the day we raced, so I got him out of the hole pretty good, although he would come charging past me just after the end of the 1/4 mile that day.
I was running just under 400hp at the wheels back then with 3.91's and a 2.76 to 1 first gear ratio automatic. I'm currently updating that to 820hp at the flywheel with a supercharger and better heads, so I'll see how that affects things. I suspect it will be a little different.
