Good morning :D
Speaking of old Fairlane race cars.

Funny memory  Kid I was neighbors with K-4th grade out in the desert, best bud, did everything together. My family moved to San Diego county to get closer to work for dad 4th-8th. Back to desert for same reason we went, but on the other side of town from best bud, seldom saw each other. Our birthdays were only 4 days apart. When we started driving we saw each other more often. He drove a '57 Ranchero, I drove a '66 Ranchero  Must have been a Scorpio thing

I remember seeing photos of a y-block intake manifold with a little ridge cast into the top almost a complete oval for to seal the bottom of the air filter with the blower.
I can't speak to that one, as all of my Y-block knowledge comes second-hand, from the guy who built the engines above, and who used to build custom, one-off intakes for Y-blocks back in the day.

But I found this photo of a factory '57 T-Bird with the supercharger (I guess these were called "F-Birds" because of the engine code):

So go to he machine shop I use (not automotive) Talking to Dillon for a while making tags themselves blank is cheap, to make a die to emboss them is 4 grand! Holy crap thats out! Marilyn was amazed the building is literally a block long!
here comes a know-it-all answer, at least I think it could be done this way. Could you have "blocks" made that would press out the tag you need? I picture two pieces, one with a negative relief and one that has a postive above the large flat area. Use a hammer or hydraulic press to make your tags. My lathe has a "milling attachment" that I envision would make those blocks. Just a thought. Tune back in for more ideas, I've got alot of them.

Well, I left at 1130 and got the tree all cut up. Arms are so f'd right now. Rest and burn brush

I think you are going in the right direction with this.
Back in the day I had something similar made up to hold hand stamp letter and number punches small punch press.
Easy to change characters. Stamped thousand of parts. A cheap hand press would probably work for his application.

Today was a good day here, I mowed the lawn and weed wacked. Garbage needs to be taken out but I'll do that tomorrow so I can say I actually did something. Going to visit my daughter tomorrow and teach my younger grand kids how to kill flies with a salt gun and feed the kids candy and before all that sugar they eat takes affect I'll head home. I'm getting really good at being a grandpa.....

I don't need to tell you all that there is so much disconnect in big American companies. The legal office of Carquest emailed me today about a pothole in the parking lot of the store they lease from me and striping for the lot. I responded I did that back in June. My contractor told me that the potholes were so small, didn't need attention and he striped it. So I'm assuming I'm dealing with a Junior attorney at their corporation headquarters. I asked him where does he get his information? Doesn't he have contact with the store manager at that location. They know the lot has been striped. Anyhow, I went back and forth with this guy on emails this morning and he kind of pissed me off. I ended up telling him that I will send somebody up to look at this minor pothole again. And that your lease with me is up in January and I will be remembering this interaction with you when I renegotiate price on the new lease, even if I do sign a new lease for you all. I really want to sell the building. Then I wished him a Nice Day and said Goodbye... :BangHead:

The ball is in your court it sounds.

Insurance companies are so aggressive and may be behind it. A pothole as we know it is something big enough to screw up a tire hitting it.
Now a small divit someone could trip over or turn an ankle is another issue. Slip or trip and fall stuff.
Maybe the junior miss needs to learn a little more about wording.
