I'm curious if they're the same Koito lamp as what's in the toyota kit.I have the koito’ s in my 68 barracuda, and my 68 coronet. Love them. A bit spendy but well worth it , in my opinion. Love to drive at night now! Lol

I used the Holley also. They are excellent with sharp cutoff. Highly recommended.Used Holley Retrobrights on my 72 Scamp, plug and play, very satisfied.
I think my Toyota parts guy had to remove the hyphen for it to come up on his computer. It had no description or breakdown of parts, just the number and a 28 buck price. I bought it anyway, and was a complete kit.So I'm a little confused..(as usual) I punch in the part# 81110-60P70.
Some places show the whole kit, wiring and all, and others just show a single headlight. Which is it?
No, just NO!!! People need to stop installing bright white LED headlights in their cars. It's ******* dangerous for drivers on the other side of the road when the lights are too bright with the wrong color temperature. There are LED lights that are a safe color temperature and brightness, but most **** heads don't buy them and instead go for the Amazon specials. What aftermarket led ornotherwise very bright lights or kits have you had success with?
Calm the hell down! Jeesus… these lights are designed to focus on just that issue. They arent just a damn bright light flooding the road in front of you like a light bar. Good lord dude. Educate yourself on some of these options before you drop your bomb! Also aiming is huge on these lights. A majority of the issues with in coming traffic getting blinded has to to with mis aimed lights! No, just NO!!! People need to stop installing bright white LED headlights in their cars. It's also probably against the law in all 50 states. In Georgia, for instance, it is perfectly legal to upgrade one generation from your original headlight type. So if your car came with sealed beams, upgrading to an H4 conversion is legal, but to an LED conversion is not.No, just NO!!! People need to stop installing bright white LED headlights in their cars. Are you talking about these? I had actually considered them before, but balked at the cost of over $200 per light, which is more than most other options I had found (at least on the Holley website).I used the Holley also. They are excellent with sharp cutoff. Highly recommended.
I had the same concern, but figured it was worth risking $15. I just picked mine up today from the local dealer, full kit.So I'm a little confused..(as usual) I punch in the part# 81110-60P70.

They're a little more now because the labor day sale is over. Mine priced out at $18.02. $19.46, tax included. They'll be in in a couple days.If anyone wants to skip marked up prices on eBay, or shipping. I went to Genuine Toyota Parts and Accessories: Official Online Store | Autoparts.toyota.com and searched for a local dealer. Picked the one closest to me and ordered the PN mentioned above (81110-60P70).
Ordered on the 30th, picked up today, $15.02 total.
It's just more problems on top of more problems, it's both. Some guy named Dan or whoever installs these goofy eyed too bright white blue LED Amazon specials on his minivan or whatever because people think it looks more modern, but it just blinds the other drivers. Some of these lights are so bright, high beams are never needed. It's at the point where I don't enjoy driving at night anymore, at first I thought it was my eyes, but I was not the only one that noticed this issue, the problem was the brighter whiter LED headlights which eye doctors and the media are even identifying as a problem.A majority of the issues with in coming traffic getting blinded has to to with mis aimed lights!
That's so funny man. How about you ask the NHTSA and the Soft Lights Foundation if your LED "options" are even legal. I'll save you the effort, the answer is NO, unless the car came with LED headlights from the factory.Educate yourself on some of these options before you drop your bomb!
Pretty much. It's also probably against the law in all 50 states. In Georgia, for instance, it is perfectly legal to upgrade one generation from your original headlight type. So if your car came with sealed beams, upgrading to an H4 conversion is legal, but to an LED conversion is not.
My 65 Barracuda had a ground strap on radiator support when I got it. No idea if it was factory.I am.not sure what year but factory did finally recognize the need and added a ground jumper from core support to batt' negative. Previously the chassis ground path was through a jumper from firewall to engine block. For my 67, all DIY. I purchased wire, terminals, wire loom, relays, 7" round H4s, all to have the desired wire length to place these relays where I wanted.
Did I miss the Tyoda part number earlier in the thread? & two on here have harnesses/ kits? Both crackedblock & slantsixdan?just checked on line found the kit from Toyota Parts Express out of Florida for 16.49 , 10.86 for shipping my total was 27.35.

I tried that, and my local dealer marked them up to like $80. The place I ordered from that backordered them just released them so we'll see!If anyone wants to skip marked up prices on eBay, or shipping. I wasn't talking about the headlights Moparmark has. I was talking about LED headlights. I'm just stating facts, don't turn what I say into something else.Moparmark isn't running LED headlights
That seems to happen too much on here, sometimes. Others points of view doesn't matter to some.I wasn't talking about the headlights Moparmark has. I was talking about LED headlights. I'm just stating facts, don't turn what I say into something else.
