[FOR SALE] nice 3:55 sure grip for a 8 3/4 diff

I have a nice 3:55 sure grip for a 8 3/4 diff. It was checked out a few years ago and it was good at that time.
not sure what to ask for it but I thought I would start at 650.00 and see what happens. customer would have to make
arrangements to pick it up or have someone pick it up for them. I'm located 20 minutes south of Ottawa so I'm easy to find.

Units are swapped all the time. But it could have a factory cone if it was in a 69-74 truck with a slant. I’ve had a few. Kim

No, it’s not a clutch type it’s a cone type. By posting the numbers and date code on the ring gear it will answer most of the questions. Probably a 741 case but could be a 742 or 489 case. Yoke size u just have to measure how wide it is and post the measurement. Price will depend on the pinion and yoke size to a buyer. Kim

I’m very but I’m disabled and it makes it impossible for me to think about everything and takes pics. I’m fairly cdrtain it’s a 741 case, when I have a chance I will get someone to help me and I will take more pics

Like I said before, I’m disabled and find it very difficult to do things. If I wasn’t disabled, the pig would be going in my dart.
I need to know how to identify weather it’s a cone or clutch. I used to know but not now.

Not a clutch style, it’s a cone style
