Thanks everyone for helping me to build my 440 Duster. I did all of the work myself which allowed me to make alot of money on the car that I bought as a roller just 4.5 years ago.

Helped load it in a trailer a few days ago, not sure how I feel about it yet.

Appreciate all of the great people on here, except for newbomb, he is what's wrong with the car hobby and there is one of him on every forum or facebook page. he is easy to trigger so someone please keep the synthetic debate going in my absence.

I am sure I will get the itch again, however in the meantime I found a roller 1970 Mach 1 to build, shes rough....

Anyway, thanks again everyone. Special thanks to Brewers and Malwood. Brewers make it simple, and Malwood makes the clutch feel like a new Hyundai.

Take care

Hate to see you go and you can stick around even if you are building a Mustang. Good luck to you.

Congratulations on the new adventure and yes! Like toolmanmike said, it's an open door so please pop back in and say hello, would like to hear updates and pictures of that cool Ford Build.
And may your days be drama free

Sorry to see that Duster go, but hopefully we'll see it again. It was really good to meet you at the Pony Corral and I wish you well on your new adventure with the Mustang. I am still a Blue Oval loyalist myself with 3 of them in my possession currently, so by all means, keep us posted on your progress.

Please stick around and post updates on the 'Stang. I knock Fords because they're not Mopars, but they're actually great cars. My first car was almost a '73 Mach 1.
Either way, good luck with it!!

Flinstone floors, broken windows, water, sat on dirt, inhumane treatment lol.. She was cheap tho
Sounds like you will be needing some sheet metal. I bet the aftermarket suppliers support Mustangs better than some of our brands.

Floor which it came with, one frame rail is toast, the others actually quite good. trying to decide what I want out of it. Thinking pro touring type deal. 408W are the cheapest HP/TQ to $$ ratio ford engine I can think of, and already have a TR3550 trans. The 9" rear end is intact. CPP makes a very cool conversion for the Mustang that converts to true upper and lower tubular arms and eliminates the strut rods. Ideas ideas. The CDN dollar is absolute trash right now vs USD so I have to be careful on the big expenses for now

I wish u well in your stand redo. Don’t be shy and post pics of the progress. Please post more pics of your duster. Thanks. Kim

The Mach I looks like a good start to another nice project. If I had the money to have some of every brand, my Ford choice would be either a 70 Mach I or a 70 Cougar Eliminator. Don't be a stranger.....and good luck with the Mustang project.

These are the best pics I have of the Duster. A local dude cruises the car meets and takes pics and videos for his YouTube channel.

Man, that car is sweet!

I missed the build. Are you running auto or manual? Power steering? a/c? Underhood pics or a build thread link would be awesome
I’m guessing since he thanked Brewers and Malwood in his OP that it’s a stick car.

Enjoy the ford! stop in and show the progress sometime... I had a 73 and my god.. the back window was insane.. like 6' long but looked 3" tall in the mirror due to the angle

I know you are sorry to see the Duster go...that is one sweet car!!
I have a Ford bud that is a 71-3 Stang guy! That back glass on those would drive me nuts! But they are a little heavy but very sexy IMHO.
I bought a solid 302 Maverick roller off him last month or so. He robbed a few parts off it for the build of his wife's Mav. But, for $1200 and a title.....
