Did I ever show this off? A couple of months ago I picked this 71 Demon /6 auto up.

I thought I needed it but it’s going to sell to my Dad. He recently bought two Duster parts cars and a decent project of a 65 Barracuda I might get try to trade with him.
I have a project ‘71 Duster and 65 Barracuda. I could trade the Barracuda parts out that are better than my 65’s then sell it off. The Dusters are pretty rough, not much there.

I’m more of a Plymouth guy I guess.

Nice Demon. It looks pretty much unmolested, except for the Rally wheels and tires, which were only correct for 3% of the 58144 slant 6 Demons sold in '71.

If the rest of the car is original and not chopped up, can you post more pictures of the car (interior, engine, etc.)? I could really use it for reference in putting my slant 6 Demon back together.

Nice find!. They are still out there!

If it doesn't have a trim tag and your Dad wants to keep it original, I can decode the car for you without a trim tag, to build a new trim tag with. But if your dad is going to chop it up, then the trim tag won't be necessary.

Also, post your Demon in the Demon registry here, for reference of future owners:

It does have a fender tag and build sheet. Between he and I, we have a couple LA’s we can use. I’m going to talk him into a TKX or a modern o/d automatic.
He’ll need a rearend. I think I’ve got him convinced to do a 8.25. He said no to the 8.8 Ford.
He has several sets of E-body buckets we might try to use. He likes the bench too.
