Stop in for a cup of coffee

We had a good “blow” this past summer that took out a few trees in the neighborhood, and about a 1/4 mile away one fell across the road. Tree “belonged” to Neighbor X, as it was rooted on his property, but they weren’t home when it fell on the road, so Neighbor Y (the next door neighbor) cut it up and got it out of the road.

And then the Free For All started…..

About a week later when Neighbor X finally got home they were all pissed-off that someone cut-up and disposed of “their” tree. Instead of saying, “Thanks!” they got all pissy about “the value of the tree “, and they threatened to sue anyone who took “their” wood.

And they don’t even heat with wood, nor do they have a fireplace.

Thought when we moved out here we left all the “Karen’s” behind, in the ‘burbs……
Whether its firewood or cut boards, most of the cost is in the processing. You almost need free trees to make any money. Getting a big tree cleaned up completely is $$$ from a service. Wishful thinking that someone is paying much for a dropped tree unless its something really special for woodworking.

Well, i have heater blower changed. Will male winter much more comfortable and dont have to pop the hood and tap on it everytime I start the truck.

SpaceX at it again!

Got the mini excavator home. Trespassers better watch out!
My buddy gave it the stamp of approval, just need to do a few modifications.

Back home from a late thanksgiving dinner with some of my family and had a great time.
Taking off for Phoenix tomorrow night so time to get my bag packed.

I-10 near Cal border isn't it?
Yea. Never been there so going to be 4 days that I sit in the desert in a motor home waiting to pick up my son when he fly's into Phoenix.
I'll have a car and motorcycle to ride around, should be a fun time as long as the cold weather doesn't fallow me down that far.
