Recently picked up this pasture find in sw ND on 1/7. Originally a 318, 3 speed floor shift car. It was about 50 degrees that day and all the cowpies were thawing out. I haven't had that much manure on my boots since 1993 when I last milked cows. Back to the bellhousing question: did they use the same one for 3 and 4 speeds? Was planning on swapping to 4 speed. Thanks for your help. Brad

Make sure that you have the correct ball pivot at the bellhousing. '72 and up were different? Maybe it's there.

Looks like the bellcrank/Z-bar is still there, holding things up? Looks like your in for some fun!

I was eyeing up that Duster for quite some time. I’m glad someone grabbed it, and is going to put it back on the road. I’ve been building/driving Duster’s for 45 plus years. I currently have a 72. If you have any questions or need any parts, give me a shout, I can probably help out.

Car has a lot of cool options. Frame and crossmember are solid. Some small rust holes front floors and of course the spare tire well is rotted out. Gonna need grill, right side fender and door. Also looking for a 4 spd. Where would the build sheet be in a Duster? It wasn't under the back seat. Thanks. Brad

I have seen the build sheet taped to the top of the glovebox in a couple cars.

My bro-in-law says he’s got a door & fender, if you’re interested. He lives just outside Minot. His user name is Robzilla, if you want to hit him up.
