Same as with every other piece of "OER"-branded junk: poor materials, poor build quality, poor fit and finish, poor durability.
"OER Authorized" is a brand a lot like "GPC Approved".
Interesting. I've bought two grilles and a couple of tail lights from them and never noticed any problems with their quality.

Glen Ray only reproduces 26” radiators. They can recore the 22” and under radiators.
I have an email in to them. I have a great set of tanks, its the core that is rotted, so should work. The question is, as with most things, price. But I can save on shipping as I get to StL a fair amount and drop off and pick up.

Glen Ray can recore your radiator but only stamp the 26” top tanks and bottoms. I talked to them yesterday at Carlisle because I was inquiring about a 22” radiator.
Sounds like you have a plan for a radiator.
As far water pump, go with FlowKooler. I have a 66 Barracuda, swapped to a 5.9. I run the original solid mount fan with a 66 shroud.
No overheating since installing the FlowKooler!
Oh, and run the cowl to hood and the hood to radiator seal. DMT has them.

I have my radiator at a NEW local radiator shop. I should get it back next week and I can give you my thoughts on them after that. So far, I've been impressed with the young man running it. He started his own shop after working many years at Midwest Radiator before it was sold.
Please do let me know if he is good. It would be great to keep it local for once.
Ok, I spoke with the guys at Glen Ray Mopar Services in StL today. They recently split form Afton Radiator who was bought out by a 'modern radiator' giant and bought the Glen Ray Mopar Radiator business form Bob. The Glen Ray Mopar guys are up and running and were at Carlisle. They are full of orders and working like hell to get caught up, but there are only the two of them at the moment.
They are having some back office issues as they get spun up, but Bob will be there in August a bit to help out, so they are the real deal . Had a good talk and they know their stuff on the old radiators. I plan to take my old radiator out there and have them re-core it. Will report back.

Yes, The Glen Ray guys are expensive, but, it will look better than new and it will fit. Not like all of the it's supposed to fit radiators that are available. I don't even like to think about it. Radiators, damn!
I used a cold case in my barracuda. Great quality, but not oem looking.
One of my pals has used a couple champions in his old Mopars with good success. They are cheap and looked kind of oem.

I just gave Bob at GlenRay a '66 V8 core at Carlisle so I know he has one. The transition to the new owner is a bit bumpy but if you PM me I can get you in contact with Bob if you want a real correct number radiator for your car. It won't be cheap, in the $1000 range but it will be the best possible customer service and radiator you can buy for your MOPAR.
He will just send it out to a place we can all send things and get it reconditioned... just finding out where ;)

Yup, Bob will get this all worked out with them.. The son bought out the dad (after the sale of GlenRay) for the commercial radiator business and the dad is going to focus solely on the GlenRay Mopar Radiator business. Bob is working with him to not make the prices even more crazy. He has him convinced to keep the radiator costs close to what Bob was and currently Bob is working to get the heater core prices back in line with what he charged before the sale.
That's ok. I'm good at tellin people where to stick things.

You are 100% spot on! Bob got me my correct 22" radiator for my show pony 71 Demon 340. Absolutely perfect and works like a charm. Sent it to me and would not take any payment info until I received it and was happy with it. Said to just call him back for payment a couple weeks after I had it and was happy. Where else you gonna get customer service like that!! Premium price (think mine was around $1200) but WAY premium service! Would do it again in a heartbeat.
