Good seeing everyone out at the Fling. Some really nice cars out this year. The best in show winner was this amazing black on black cuda'. Burnt probably has a picture.

Johnny's dart was badass as well.

If I had a vote I would have voted for his car for best in show in the restified or stock class. FABO was well represented at this years Fling.

Was it just me that noticed that A-bodies were the most represented at today's(Sunday) Spring Fling? For those of you thinking of restoring an A-body..I threw up(for all of you) after looking at JohnnyDart's 70 Swinger(he didn't see me).Remember his chronicled build-up?..sick. Great two days in sunny SoCal.

FABO was out in force. I spoke with at least 10 of our members.
Really cool to put a face with a name !
Everybodys cars were looking awesome,and represented the site well.
Hopefully we can do it all again in the Fall.

HMM. I think you are right. Sorry I don't know a lot about them E bodies. Looks like I did not get a pic of it after all:eek:ops:


I put a bunch of E and B body pics up over on FEBO if you all want to see them head on over there and check them out.

Nicknamed that yellow Swinger "Mr. Sparkly". Entire exterior, dashboard, speaker covers, other interior parts, underhood frame, valvecovers, pretty much the whole thing was covered with 'sparkly' glitter.
Just my opinion, but this car was in the wrong neighborhood. It did cause a lot of chuckles from the people that talked to me about it.

You really had to see it in person - like OCDart said, the glitter you see in the stripes completely covered the car inside, outside and under the hood. :-&

Didn't take a look in the trunk, but it had small tires and switches between the seats so it may have had hydraulics??
 
hey guys. i finally got around to posting pictures. im going to try not to post a bunch of double pictures since i have a lot of the same ones. this first set is of our drive down the coast. the weather was nice, but i dont think i will do the coastal cruise again because it takes about 10 hours to get to van nuys rather than 5 hours if i go the other way.
