i just picked up a 71 340 duster that i do not have a title for. i would like to sell it whole, but i will not get as much so,
it is a complete car, with alot of goodies, so here goes............

a body 8 3/4 w/ 3:23 open chunk 600.00
rallye dash with or with out the factory tach. no cracks and not cut up at all. does need to be repainted on the face. all guages work. 650.00, and if you need the whole harness, we can work out a deal. this is the correct one for a 71, but i think works in other year cars as well.
a body 71 correct bucket seats. comes with the correct back one too. orange in color. foam is good needs recovered 500.00 will work out a deal if you want the correct matching door panels and pull handles too. door panels are nice, just need to be cleaned.
a body center console with all the shift linkage. make offer. steering colunm for floor shift, with power steering make offer
340 front k-frame with kelsey hayes disc brakes and sway bar. 450.00
this will come out when i gut the car, so be patient
340 shell. i have a partial fender tag that shows the e55 (340) and d32(727) and a few other codes but is rusted up. oh, and it has the vin number on it, that matches the build sheet that i have for the car. car needs..... tire area patch, driver front and rear floor pand. passenger side is good, needs some love to the tail panel, a rot hole on the cowl under the hood, headliner, and lower rad support work. will sell the whole car for the right price. i am keeping the grill...... not for sale at the moment.lol

seems to be a repairable car to me. why part it? i would try to get a new title for it if it were me. interior if original is a nice different color combo as well.....just my 2 cents...good luck either way.
 
well, i have too many projects, and no title, and ill get beat up on the price if i sell it whole.....yaddie yaddie.. you know how us mopar folks are,,,,cheap.lol


also just took the 340 manifolds off the car. the date on them is 11-30-70. they are in decent shape. some pitting. need to be media blasted. heat riser still works. i wouls say that since metal fell out of the inside of them, thay are protrude honed also!!!!! j/k. best offer these are date correct for a 71 340
 
I am also looking for the metal rear sail panels (both sides) -- Front A-pillar plastics (if not cracked) --- Floor shift column with key -- Please send prices and shipping costs for these as well -- Pittsburgh, PA 15212
 
guys, i got someone intrested in the whole car, and he will have an answer for me in the afternoon . once i find out, i will post update
 
hopefully whoever wants it as a whole car will buy it. thats way too nice to part. ive had several without titles. if i had the time, id make the drive and get the whole thing myself.
 
What a nice example of a duster. I would love to own that just to put it back to orange on orange with a 340 and auto on floor with ralley dash. I love it!
 
well, i just got a early call. the guy cannot come up with the money. you all keep saying to get a title........ how do i go about that? how much? where at? how long. i really also wanted to redo the car, but i do not want it just sitting here. if i thought i could get a title, then maybe that would be an option, but i would hate to do all that work to it, then not be able to obtain one
 
Can't you put just a bill of sale for it? In ALabama you dont have to have a title for anything older than '78
 
well, yea, i could give a bill of sale, but in my state, if i go to register it, i need a title
 
in CT we do not have titles. all we need is a bill of sale. so you can sell to states that don't need titles.
the best way is to ask your DMV how to get a title
 
yeah, id get a hold of the dmv. if your dmv is gonna screw you around too much, id find a buddy from a state where you only need a bill of sale. "sell" it to them, have them get a title, then "buy" it back and you will ony have to deal with having an out of state title.
 
guys, i am sorry for posting this as a parts car, as after finding out through the build sheet it is a factory ev2 and l6xv interior car, i cannot see it get parted. i will try to sell as a project sorry for the inconveience
