It might be better to mock up the cage before pulling the headliner so you can get the clearances you want. You can tack it all together then pull the headliner.
What effect if any does c/r have on engine vacuum. I'm planning on running a .509 cam in a 426w with 10:1. Just curious if vacuum would be different at 8:1 or 12:1 for example. Thanks
If I'm not mistaken, You'll also need to run an extra ground wire that will be attached to a ground rod hammered into the ground, 6' long I think. At least that's the code out here. How big are your breakers? How long is your run from the breaker to the garage? That will also determine the size...
Just cut .120 off my 11:1 TRW forgings, (actual c/r was about 12.3:1) 426w, gets me down to 10:1. $200 including r+r of the rods, would have been close to $100 for just the pistons.
