As part of the job replacing the oil pan and pickup for the Gen 3 swap into an A body, it is necessary to remove and swap out 2 of the main cap bolts for the new windage tray. My question is, do the new torque to yield bolts require lube? What is recommended if I do?
I am only replacing 2 bolts...
Has anybody used the Earl's intercooler replacement manifold in order to get more clearance at the firewall on the A body swap?
Did it give you enough room to keep the wiper motor in place? Are there any other solutions out there? It's a bit pricey at $500
thanks,
Bill
Gathering parts for this Hellcat swap for my Dart Sport and I'm wondering if I need front torque boxes. The car is back halved with a 4 link setup so I am not worried about that. I do have the sub frames tied already but I am wondering if I also need torque boxes on top of that.
Any thoughts...
I removed my steering column and noticed something that seems wrong.
There is no bearing in the column where it appears there should be.
Am I wrong or do I need a bearing?
