I drove my 66 Barracuda for the second time yesterday since putting the Lares 16:1 manual gear in, and the car drives amazing. Harder to steer a lows speeds, but worth the trade off. Now to get the offset CA bushings in and dial in some more caster. I won't be scared to take it on a long trip...
I am having the same issue with a daily driver (no obvious source of the moisture). Based on a tip I saw on Facebook, I have placed a couple of socks with crystal cat litter in them, in the car. It seems to be working.
Does anyone have experience with this kit and the use of the factory 14" X 5.5" steel wheels? Mine are hitting the caliper. Called SSBC and sent them pictures where is is rubbing on the caliper and the wheel. They said they they havent had any problems with the mopar kits. They questioned...
Check the wires where they come out of the column. The wires rubbing the edge of the square opening caused a short in mine. I replaced the turn signal switch assembly and wrapped the wires in this area. I believe that slant 6 Dan carries these switches (danielsternlighting.com)
