it's ether 5/16 or 3/8 fuel line probably 5/16 depending on how much fuel you want to deliver and what motor your running small block 5/16 big block 3/8 and with it being newer than 71 should have a return line or vent line

yup the way the shifter linkage is set up it is a 3 speed with over drive that is the way mine is set and I love it with 355 gears she gets 22 mpg at 70 as long as I stay out of the other two carbs LOL

I don't know what year your motor is but dodge had a problem with the 5.9 with the heads cracking between ports so make sure you get them checked cracks are quite visible when you clean heads with wire brush between valves 1998-2001
What everybody forgot is the rod has a v groove in it to spray the cam with extra oil so really with the chamfer needing to go to the front the v groove in the rod needs to go toward the cam
