What is your favorite filament for engine parts?

I have a Flashforge, but there's a profile in Orca for it. I do use a textured PEI bed though, maybe I'll try it without the sheet in there so its smooth.

What is your favorite filament for engine parts?

Those of you using ASA, what speed and temp settings are you using. I've never had a print fail with PLA, but I'll be damned if I can get ASA to work. My parts normally warp and lose adhesion.. Print head - 170 Bed temp - 90, preheated for 10 minutes to warm the enclosure I do have my fans...

Anyone ever used Summit's "Beat a price guarantee"?

I've done it a few times. When I talk to them, they just ask for the website that has the lower price, and they beat it by either a penny or a dollar, I can't remember. Super easy though, they've never questioned it. I had come across an older site that hadn't raised prices like...

My 72 Duster filler neck is installed from the outside. Not sure if a previous owner dis it wrong, but my gas cap doesn't stick out that far.

    Motive Power Bleeder

I had one, I always fought against air leaks at various points, and it uses a lot of fluid to fill it up enough to work. I ended up going to a Mityvac hand pump that you use at each wheel cylinder, worked great and uses less fluid.

Battery size or timing too high?

My 440 used to be locked out at 36. I was using a 15 year old Optima red top and a mopar high torque dakota starter, it started just fine. On a side note, I have the same battery, now 25 years old starting the car just fine, but I have it set to 18 initial and have a timing curve in it now.

    Passon Performance in PA

It took lots of hounding him to get my parts shipped, when they showed up, stuff was missing and he blamed me. Ended up making it right, but took way more effort on my side than it should have. He talked bad about the other Mopar vendors out there too. My thought is if you have to put down...

Shimming hydraulic slave cylinder on A833- does this look ok to you?

I don't have a mill, or a local machine shop. The washers have the exact same fit as the spacer they provide, same ID as well.

Shimming hydraulic slave cylinder on A833- does this look ok to you?

I tried using the same piece, but the spacing wasn't correct.

Shimming hydraulic slave cylinder on A833- does this look ok to you?

Mine is similar, I replaced some of the thin washers with a thicker one, but it fit about the same. I have had no issues for about 500 miles so far.

    Lower Idler Arm?

I went that route when I swapped oil pans. Now my steering rubs on my torsion bars (and still rubs the oil pan).

    440 swap in 71 Demon

I have a Champion 3 core aluminum, with a factory mechanical fan and clutch. It's kept it cool for the last decade or so.
