Yeah. Me too. I run American Powertrain set up and they actually machined me a nice piece of aluminum, to fill the gap. Been in there at least 10 years.I believe I would have a machine shop carve out something solid that's the correct width.
I used a spacer that has the grub screw to set it in place, machined it down, and filled the rest of the gap with shims
They sell Ford ones in .7 and .38 but they are for the Toploader and Hemi a833 shaft size, Mopar only .7
Believe mine is taken down about half way
