The filter didn't look that bad off. I went ahead and replaced the ballast resistor lik eyou all suggested and it's been running like a champ! Thanks again.

D'oh! I didn't notice the link in the last post. I went ahead and replaced the filter...pump looks like a lot more work so i'm gonna run it like this for a while and see if it happens again. Thanks again!

Thanks for all the advice. I'll work on it today and let you know how it comes out. Hopefully I won't be looking for advice on how to fix something I break!

Teetering between selling my Dart and doing an engine swap. I am looking for a complete v8 with tranny for a novice level drop in and go. Currently have a stock /6 and tranny. Prefer to see engine running before sale. Located in eastern Virginia.

I got two boxes of bushings at NAPA for around $10...fyi your right rear side will be slightly higher than the left...I thought I had received the wrong springs when i saw that but it's supposed to be that way

meaning people are asking a crapload more for a POS camero or mustang than they are for a-bodies...

dont listen to the nay sayers who ask why you bought it...I got a ford guy and a camero guy in my office that give me crap daily...just wait till you get it all fixed up for a fraction of what they had to pay!
