    Thermoquad jetting help?

Thanks Moe. I just checked it out and see how it works. Thank your son for me as well. It'll probably be the weekend before I have time to go through the process, but I can use the program to calculate the various percentage of increase and decrease with the different combinations of jets and...

    Thermoquad jetting help?

Thanks Rumble. Good point. I just got the carb kit I had ordered and it came with good base gaskets, plus a nice 1/4" spacer. I don't have a spacer under the Edelbrock I'm using now, but I'm thinking I'll use this one in the kit when I put the TQ on.

    Thermoquad jetting help?

Thanks Moe. I appreciate it. I understand what you're saying. I just bought a box of spare TQ parts (for $12) that included some smaller secondary jets, as well as two different sizes of metering rods, so I have a lot to work with. I'll see what I come up with using the formula, but regardless...

    Thermoquad jetting help?

Thanks again to all. It will be at least a few weeks before I get this TQ built and on the car, but will update the post with results then.

    Thermoquad jetting help?

Thanks for the info folks. The primary jets in it now are 4095 (0.095s), which I'm thinking may be ok. I know there are a lot of different metering rods. This one currently has 75-1966 rods in it, which may also be ok. I'm willing to try it. The secondary jets in this carb are 5143s. Not knowing...

    Thermoquad jetting help?

I'm hoping somebody out there can make a recommendation on what size primary jets, metering rods, and secondary jets I should try (start with). I have a 9022 S Thermoquad that I want to rebuild for my 318 four-speed Dart. This carb was originally on a 1974 360 truck engine with automatic...

    Valve Lash Adjustment Interval?

Thanks 67! That's exactly what I was looking for. I have a '67 service manual & searched the maintenance section for it & couldn't find it anywhere. An online search also turned up nothing useful. Phillip

    Valve Lash Adjustment Interval?

Does anyone know what Chrysler's recommendation was for valve adjustment intervals on the early small block engines with solid-lifter cams? I re-adjusted the valve lash on my 318 solid-lifter engine this weekend (just for fun) after running it the first 4,000 miles or so, and found them to not...

    what butyl to use

I had very good success with PTI 707 found on ebay. Easy to apply, easy to clean up. I had installed new seals for the windshield and for the rear glass - without sealant of any kind. Both leaked badly when it rained. After a little research, I found this product. I removed the stainless trim...

    Can you identify these?

Well, I installed the rear interior quarter trim panels this weekend. I didn't see any place or any way these clips could be a part of that assembly, or the package tray assembly either. I'm thinking blue missile is correct and these are part of the roof rail assembly. I did not have any...

    roof rail trim installation

Hello. Wondering if you ever got this figured out. I found some clips I think may be part of the roof rail assemblies for my '67 Dart, but having trouble identifying them. I have a thread posted now "Can you identify these?" Someone suggested they may be clips for the roof rails, but I can't...

    Can you identify these?

Quarter windows are installed, yes. Hmmm . . . package tray, no. I have a new one still in the box, scheduled for installation with other interior trim panels this weekend.

    Can you identify these?

To pete9857. Thanks. That's kind of what I'm thinking . . . maybe on the upper filler panel covering the interior quarter area - the metal panel that the "fuzzy strip" attaches to. Looking at the filler panels and the quarter window area, nothing looks obvious, but I'll be fitting and installing...

    Can you identify these?

And, I did have the headliner out but helped with the replacement. The retainers for the bows are similar, but different - and they're all accounted-for and installed . . . I'm still thinking these go in the rear quarter window area, but I've looked it over and don't see any obvious place...
