Are there some of these aftermarket heads where you have to notch the block for valve clearance? That might be a factor in deciding which one as well.

Yeah ok. I have some ported (allegedly) 452's on the cuda atm but there is a chunk missing out of where the rocker cover sits and they always leak. PITA to get to seal and have to redress it every so often.

Yeah for sure. I have another set of 440 source heads for a 400 stroker build in the Charger but thinking of changing to the Trickflows for that one and put the Source heads on the 383 in the Cuda.

How can I tell if the '906 heads I have are ported? The metal seems a bit thin between the ports. Any measurements I can take?

I did a 383 in My '69 Cuda convertible, great upgrade from the 360, more torque. I added a Schumacher torque strap to the front of the motor as well. I definitely wish I had taken the cross member out and installed from the bottom. If you go to put it in and it doesn't fit, like I had to do a...

How did you go with them? I know how hard they are to do in the Charger. Still can't get them to line up properly either. Also I used the cat whisker type and not the windscreen wiper rubber type, makes a difference. Use silicon spray to finish off and lubricate it, just check if the window tint...

There was a company that made aftermarket guage panels, I got one sent over. I don't know if they still make them.

My 2 cents - drop the K member and mount engine to K member first. Shove it under the car and bolt it in, lowering the body onto it. I did a 69 Cuda. Wish I did it that way for what it was worth. Looks easy doing it the other way but don't be fooled.
