I saw where you replied to my thread on the distance between leaf spring mounts, front to back, on a '72 Dart Swinger. For some reason the thread has disappeared before I saw your comment. Do you have the measurement?

Thanks, Fred. I was very careful taking them out. I will repair them and use them if I can't find any. There is extensive rust damage in several areas but they can be restored.

I'm having trouble finding these. I could restore/repair these but would prefer new if available. Is there a vendor that makes these?

Just a short update on the 440. The motor started after a little bit of timing tweaking. Let it run for just a few seconds as it wasn't hooked up to a radiator. Good oil pressure. Great throttle response. Thanks for the advice on how to wire it in.

How much more room do these give you for wider tires? Who is a good source for them? Thanks.

Not starting the engine yet. Just wanted to be sure of oil pressure before the start. The 5/16 hexshaft run counter clockwise in my cordless drill bottomed out the pressure gauge. Oil pump works fine.
