I forgot to mention that if you paint the door jambs with the doors on it is difficult to get the hinge area since the interior will probably be completely masked off. The door will be wide open but it is still a little tight to get the spray gun the right distance away when spraying the door...

What about mechanical secondaries on a carter or Eddy.? I don't have enough vacuum for vacuum secondaries. Also, couldn't a Thermoquad be a decent performance choice?

You could budget build the 360. You have almost everything. Crank would need reground new pistons, the heads would need work. Pick the right cam for stock valve gear, etc.

I had my J heads upgraded to 2.02 intake valves. Was told by the machinist that there wouldn't be room for hardened valve seats. So they are not in there. Was I told wrong? The port job is nice enough and they flow 246 cfm. intake and 161 cfm. exhaust with the 1.60 exhaust valves.
