Looking for a 1964 Dart 270 Speedo or one that would fit the dash. Or if someone can tell me how I can fix a broken speedo needle on the gauge. Tried to glue it back together but that didn't. My current one just has the broken needle but I can't figure out if it can be replaced. If so, I could...

Does anyone have any ideas on how to tighten up my rear view outside mirrors? They just keep falling and I can't find any way to tighten them up on the mounts. By the way, they are the two post mirrors.
My car seems tobe sucking gas, especially on the highway. It seems I'm only getting about 12 MPG for a six cylinder engine with a single barrel carb. That seems too low to me. Can anyone give me some ideas on what might be going on. I have the stock 13" wheels, since I can't afford to change...
thanks. that's good advice, I will make up a piece of angle iron to do the job. Do you know what the thread count is? I tried a 3/8 eye bolt I had laying around (coarse thread) and it wouldn't thread into the mounting hole
can anyone tell me the eyebolt size I need for the lifting holes on top of the 225 slant six motor. I doesn't appear to be 5/16 (too small) and 3/8 seems too large. the best I can tell, it doesn't look like a fine thread. Any help would be appreciated
how did you lift it? Did you have to use a winch or were you able to jack it up? Is it OK to lift the engine with a block of wood under the front pulley?
do you guys have the 111" wheelbase models? in the manual it said to turn the crank on the 118" wheelbase models and it would come out, but on the smaller wheelbase, you had to lift the motor.
I bought one of those composite gaskets from the guy in Austrailia and it looks great. Do I have to put a sealant on the gasket when I install it or does it just go on without any sealant? I looked up the original gasket and they used a sealant but it was much thinner and made from a different...
I have removed my intake/exhaust manifolds from my 225 slant six, but in the process I broke four of the studs that go into the engine block.
Can anyone tell me where I can locate some replacement studs? I have checked all of the auto parts stores, but with no luck.
Does anyone have any for sale?
I am in San Diego, CA. But I think I am all set. Another member I talked too a couple of weeks ago got back to me today and it looks like he can send out the one he has to me tomorrow. So I would say that shimsham1 would be the next in line.
By the way, the manifold did change in '69 or '70...
