I know this is way off in left field, but has she tried the new glock 43? (Single stack 9mm) Not sure about the weight, but a friend of mine got one, I instantly loved it. It felt lighter and more comfortable than the PPK

Has the former Ms. Bond tried the old 32auto version of the PPK as opposed to the newer 380? I'm not sure there is a weight difference, but the 32 is pretty light, may be lighter. And check ppk vs ppk-s pretty sure there's a weight difference

Kids just went down for the night, starting to dig into one of my ARs, the one I take to the range. I have to convert my gun into a "fixed mag" to keep from having to register it as an "assault weapon". Thanks California voters, Im sure all the criminals are hard at work, converting their guns...

Looking through the photo album this evening and found some pictures of when I did a disc brake conversion and 8-3/4 to get ready to drop in a big block in the 69 dart....OMG that was 20 years ago! The embarrassing part is... I still haven't put the big block in!

Finished up the new deck today, tied in the fence from the side yard through the end of the deck so I don't have to see the neighbor's place
