    Tightness of Seat Belt Bolts?

I don't think the rear carpet quite reaches the location where the 4 holes are under the back seat. Do you think a piece of carpet or material should be placed under the bracket? It would help to eat up some of the shoulder height. It appear, although, that nothing was there originally.

    Tightness of Seat Belt Bolts?

Thanks folks. Much appreciated. That makes sense. I like the visual reference and explanation of the variants! I have the C11, one belt flavor, in the Signet. Does anyone use an addition rubber washer or something to reduce possible rattle and account for the extra tolerance still left between...

    Tightness of Seat Belt Bolts?

Happy Friday. I was wondering if you bolt the seat belt brackets tightly to the floor, thread points, or if you allow for the bracket to swivel around the bolt. This is for a 4 door, 67 Valiant with Bench Seats and Lap Belts. I see from the Service Manual and Parts Book that ananti-rattle washer...

    Fender Lower Mounting Studs

Hello good folks. Maybe someone can help. I'd like to remove these studs from their clips so that I can remove the stack of washers and then realign the fender. How do you remove these studs from their clips? Here's a couple pics from my car and a pic from another thread showing the stud and...

PSA ... Plymouth Service Announcement - My first rodeo with s/a on Door Handles

Hello Folks, I'm slowly reassembling the 67, 4-Door, Valiant Signet after bodywork and paint. It's been a long strange trip! I did a search and I saw a post dealing with this from 2013, but thought I'd be remiss and irresponsible if I didn't mention this (!), and perhaps it might be a helpful...

72 Scamp... you know, looks like a Dart...

Hunting and rooted for opinions on where to use windshield gasket sealer on the bottom surface of my 67 Valiant. I have the drain holes and bend up tabs on that bottom surface where the gasket mounts. Sounds similar to your car. Did you use sealer anywhere on the fence-less locations on that...

During the Rainy Season - I found out my '71 Duster had sprung a leak!

Greetings! Thanks for the good pics and commentary regrading the 'Drain Holes'. Very helpful. I'm pulling the original weatherstripping (gasket) and windshield back into my finally painted 67 Valiant. I'm planning on using buthyl compound in gasket, at the pinch-weld locations (top, sides and 6...

    1963 Dart 170 2 Door Post Resto

Thanks for the good input. Yeah it might be a good question for a new thread. I might look at it again and then reach out if it's still illusive. Thanks again for the message.

    1963 Dart 170 2 Door Post Resto

Thanks for the response. Much appreciated. I should have been more specific. I'm wondering about the 'cardboard' package-tray/shelf itself. My original is in pretty good condition and I feel I'd be sacrilege to paint it. I was wondering what folks have used to clean/preserve/restore the outer...

67 dart windshield install pics, step by step

Thanks for the tip. I'm using the original gaskets, but it might be good to do this since the rubbers have been off the car for about 2 yrs. Thanks for the information!

67 dart windshield install pics, step by step

Thanks for the good information. Much appreciated. Yeah the 67 is an odd ball. My body man was careful enough to save the original front and rear rubber gaskets and I have a cluster of NOS locking strips that I've collected over the years, so I plan to stick with the oddball 67 method. For the...

67 dart windshield install pics, step by step

Hello. I know this is an old post, but was wondering about the leaking around the BOF. I'm currently going to put glass, gasket and locking strip in on my 67 Signet. Did your method (with all those pics) still require additional sealing, due to leaks? Wondering the best method for front and rear...
