I concur with 273, he knows his stuff. I didn't think about looking up an electrical contractor that does radio site work, great idea.

EDIT: Misinformation in my first reply, I removed the misleading info & replaced with correct info. I'm not sure what gauge wire would have come on your Dart originally for the alternator, but if you are doing the MAD mod, I would run a 6 gauge wire from the alternator directly to the battery...

Looks awesome! Would love to see the finished product. Oh, & don't feel alone, I catch flak for prepping my '63 to put an AMC 390 in it. Main reason, already had the motor, other reason .... for the unique factor. Look forward to watching your build :thumbup:

Ok, since I do not currently have a small block Mopar engine for mock up, can anyone who has notched a pre-64 firewall tell me the exact location & dimensions of what the notch or "cubby hole" needs to be. We are going to do all the body work, mini tub, etc. this winter & will have it painted...
