    (Another) Slant 6 No-Start Thread

Let me begin by saying that prior to this the car has always started easy and reliably. When I first got it it didn't run. I put new plugs in it and it's ran right ever since. Until recently. Here's the story, I had just finished welding on new frame rails (safetcaps actually) so I can finally...

Disc conversion using 13 in rims?

If I had to guess, stock hubcaps. I wanted to run 13s for the hubcaps but It just wasn't gonna happen, theres basically no 13" tires in production. To the OP, if hubcaps are your concern, you can measure and cut the top off a dog-dish cap and carefully mate it to your hubcap so it sits in the...

    [SOLD] WTB 63-69 A-body

If you weren't firmly against 4 doors, and I understand everyone has their own taste, it seems to me, living in upstate and downstate NY that they are usually in better shape on this coast. They were usually family cars, and those "grandma just kept driving it" stories are a little more...

Disc conversion using 13 in rims?

The only way it could even potentially be done would be to shorten the scarebird bracket to accomadate a smaller radius, and then go out on your own to find a caliper/rotor combo that fits. And good luck with that; as it is the scarebird kit uses calipers to a discontinued chevy and a rotor off...

    Post pics of your dart!

Shocking, but not untraceable, and in fact gradual in some ways. We'll leave the Dart Lancer out of this, and start in 63, the first year it was just the 'Dart.' The 63 grill is actually smoother, and in some ways closer to the spirit of the 65 model, 64 features a design update including...

1964 Dodge Dart - A Crusty, Rusty Daily

Hello all, I've had my Dart now since last summer, and I've been putting off a restoration thread since I haven't done much. And in truth I probably won't be doing much immediately, which I'm sure some people will object to but I rescued her from a dark fate so that enough for me to feel good...

High Impact Colors, and The Future

So there I was walking back from class today, and I noticed two identical bright green 2015 Challengers (Sublime maybe?). One was pulling out of the University's lot and the other just at red light. They were also both some trim upgrade with the black stripes and lettering, and a spoiler. They...

    Youth and muscle cars

It definitely depends on access. I was into cars as a little kid, and it faded some. I was lucky to have met my girlfriend, whose dad had classics and a lift-and-all garage. Got me back into it, and now I have my Dart. His 16yo son is building his first car with him too, a 67 Cougar. We both use...
